I see in the references that Phillip Robinson indicated that this was found by Ruth Knopf. Just to add a bit to that -- she found it in Rock Hill, South Carolina, which is where Ruth built up her first large old-rose garden.

Has "Rock Hill Peach Tea" been compared with 'Madame Joseph Schwartz'?

I haven't seen Mme Joseph Schwartz as pink as some of these photos, except when it's reverting.

I grow both. While flower shape is similar, color is not. In cooler weather, this one is definitely the color of peach ice cream (orange, not pink). In heat, it fades to white. The flowers average a little bigger than 'Madame Joseph Schwartz'.
