Medium pink Hybrid Perpetual. Registration name: Baronne Prévost (Hybrid Perpetual, Desprez, 1841)
Bloom:
Pink, lilac shading. Strong, damask fragrance. Average diameter 6". Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, button-eye, flat bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Wavy or ruffled foliage. 7 leaflets.
Height: 39" to 5' (100 to 150cm). Width: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. A good subject for pegging. Blooms tend to ball in wet weather. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
