The 1920 reference says “The colour of the rose is cherry-red, approximately like Ulrich Brunner fils.” (We list the colour of ‘Ulrich Brunner fils’ as deep pink to cerise.) It appears that the synonym of ‘Red Druschki’ has been taken too much to heart and perhaps the colour of ‘Ruhm von Steinfurth’ should be shown as cerise to cherry red? (At the moment we have the colour listed as red, and cherry red.)

This rose has long been sold in Japan as Aka Fuji (meaning "red Fuji") .By the way, it has a great fragrance!

Gwendolyn,
I would love to add this aka to the rose page. Can you send me a source of information that I can use in the references section?
Thank you in advance.
Smiles,
