Jocelen!
I had no idea you had obtained offspring from 'Ann Endt', congrats. You probably know that the American bred 'Basye's Purple' doesn't produce seed and try as they might, it appears nobody has obtained offspring via pollen either. I hope you are planning on distributing your seedling, it looks very interesting indeed. Kudos.

PS: you may want to clarify the parentage, as your comment contradicts the listing that says 'Ann Endt' X "a Hybrid Perpetual'. Which is correct?

Basye's Purple pollen will work. I had five seedlings of it with Yellow Jewel as seed parent. Five miserable plants which, IF they flowered, were all white; terribly prickly and awkward growing and generally miserable to even look at, much less maintain. After about four years, they went to their reward.

How nice that you got something out of Ann Endt! It's a pretty thing isn't it? I like the foliage.

Congratulations!

Thanks Robert.
I used Ann Endt both as a mummy and a daddy. :)
I will upload the pics here if something interesting is coming out.
