Le Bengale Hermite d'Angers. Buisson assez vigoureux. Feuilles semblables à celles du Bengale Hermite ordinaire. Pédoncule hispidule. Ovaire petit, ob-conique. Sépales presque entières. Fleur de 2 po. 6 lig. de diam. [6.8 cm], épaisse, arrondie en dessus, très pleine, d'un rouge sang-de-boeuf. Pétales ondulés, ceux du centre pliès en gouttière. Première flor. 1820. Très belle Rose, provenue du Bengale Hermite ordinaire, dont elle a conserve l'aspect, mais s'épanouissant bien.
