‘Phoenix First’ (Florib.). (Kernoske, 1959) This new release will out-do many at present on the market in its colour range. It is a very dark red shading to black, in fact it is one of the darkest floribundas that we have seen. It flowers in clusters, the blooms are fully double in texture, and it is truly depicted in our delightful colour illustration. 10/6.
