A cutting kindly shared at the end of a rose show has turned into a beautiful plant. Blooming in early April here in my GA garden. Very healthy, a prolific bloomer, and drought tolerant - a potential candidate for EarthKind designation.

I forgot about this plant one year until the season was over. It was in a "dormant" area that got no attention. It was blooming away. The winter had been especially hard and this received no hand applied mulch (just Alaskan snow). Good little plant.

We are zone 4/5. We generally don't get colder than 20 below but have long winters...October to late April or early May. We do get lots of snow cover and that helps keep the plants dormant and away from that vicious freeze/thaw cycle that kills many perennials.
