It produces abundance of flowers in large clusters, of bright crimson scarlet, nearly double, and, what is rare among climbing roses, they are very fragrant. I have named this rose "Sir John Sebright", as I have the honour of knowing that Sir John is an admirer of brilliant coloured climbing roses.
