Bred by Herbert C. Swim (United States, before 1967). Bred by O.L. Weeks (1912-2002) (United States, before 1967).
Introduced in United States by Weeks Wholesale Rose Grower, Inc. in 1967 as 'Sunbonnet'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Flowers bright greenish yellow.  Moderate fragrance.  30 to 38 petals.  Medium, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  produces decorative hips.
