Ross Roses New Release for 2008. We confidently offer our new Australian hybridised roses for 2008. 'Soft Bouquet' ™ (Tomquet) NEW 2008. A desirable attribute for any rose is to be free of thorns and 'Soft Bouquet' ™ is just that - virtually a thornless rose. Here is the perfect rose for gardeners wishing to eliminate the thorn factor in their roses. Instantly appealing in shades of soft pink, the spiral buds and beautiful blooms are a sheer delight. Borne in groups of 2 to 3 buds, the strongly fragrant flowers are on long stems, excellent for cutting, and also garden display. Flowering for 8 to 9 months of the year on a bush habit up to 1.2 metres tall, with rich green healthy foliage, it was bred by George Thomson; this is one of his loveliest roses and most worthy of a place in every garden.
