Origin:
Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2007).
Class:
Hybrid Clinophylla.
Bloom:
None to mild, carnation fragrance.  5 to 7 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Prolific, once-blooming spring or summer.  Small, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, arching, lax.  Small, semi-glossy, light green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.
Growing:
Very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
This is one of three selections from a cross of a self-seedling of the Ralph Moore breeder 0-47-19 and R. clinophylla from India. This plant tends to be evergreen, as one would expect, and has a very graceful, arched growth habit. As you can see, the canes tend to bloom along their length in one big display. Fertility is to be determined, but I hope this (and its siblings) may prove fertile so that I can advance this line of breeding.

Because of its pedigree, this set of Clinophylla hybrids are all presumed to be diploids, although they have not been tested yet.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
