Origin:
Bred by Hans Jürgen Evers (1940-2007) (Germany, 2004).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 2009 as 'Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Rose'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, ages to carmine-pink .  Strong, anise, honey, sweet fragrance.  up to 100 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Medium green foliage.  

Height: 39" to 47" (100 to 120cm).
