Cyrano (F. Dubreuil). -- Carmine, with bright, rosy scarlet reflexes and velvety shadings when opening; base of petals white, very full, well formed, produced in corymbs. Growth dwarf, bushy, very free flowering. Fine for edging. 3/6 each.

Polyantha. Cyrano (Dubreuil). Blooms are produced without interruption on cluster-formed trusses of 7-12 on each stalk, are very double, short, chalice-form, fine form, carmine with silky pink reflexes, with white petal base. Short, compact, garnished from below.

Notre collègue, M. F. Dubreuil, rosiériste à Saint-Alban, Monplaisir - Lyon, livre au commerce, à partir du 1° novembre 1913, les trois variétés suivantes : … CYRANO (Polyantha nain). — Rosier nain, compact, ramifié dès la base, à rameaux nombreux, feuilles d'un' vert brillant. Inflorescences nombreuses se succédant sans interruption, formées de corymbes ombelliformes de 7 à 12 fleurs très doubles, en petites coupes raccourcies, bien faites, de couleur carmin à reflets carthame, en s'épanouissant mat et velouté avec un grand onglet blanc. Variété extra pour bordure ; issue de semis inédit.
