Bred by Francis Dubreuil (France, 1910).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1912 as 'Auguste Rodrigues'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, lighter center.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Leafy sepals, long buds.  
Habit:
Glossy, dark green foliage.
