Origin:
Bred by César Chambard (France, 1935).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'Zaïd'.
Class:
Hybrid Foetida/Lutea, Hybrid Wichurana, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Red, apricot shading, copper shading, yellow undertones, light yellow reverse.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Tall, bushy, compact.  Glossy foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
