'Mademoiselle Bep van Rossem' rose References
Book (1948) Page(s) 129. Mrs. D. Marriott, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. My favourites, Mile. Bep van Rossem are still beautiful and good; there is something about this rose that appeals to me. The blooms are different and so lasting. I am going to try the compost, bone flour feeding on these next February. Somehow though, at the show, they do not get a prize, probably because the shape is flat. The public seem to admire them, however.

Website/Catalog (1928) Page(s) 31. p31. New Roses 1928. Mlle. Bep van Rossem (HT. G. A. Van Rossem, 1926) One of the very best dark canary yellow roses yet raised. It is the progeny of a seedling and ‘Souv. de Claudius Pernet’. The bud is pointed. The flower of medium size is carried quite erect on a rigid stem, mostly single, sometimes two or three together. The bloom opens gradually and grows and fills itself out in the centre; lasts very long without any fading of its pure yellow colour. The plant is strong, erect, and is a very free flowering bedding rose. Promising.
