The summer has been wetter than usual, so I did see more spot here than ususal during the summer months. This was one of the few plants in my yard to be seriously affected by the fungus. It will be culled this year after the fall flush. I'll try to get some reprentative photos at that time. I have several promising seedlings with this plant in their background already, so I'll leave the plant posted here for reference.

The plant is now about 6 X 4 and it really had a productive flush in the spring 2010. The flowers were adequately sized, though a bit smaller that last year. At least half had split centers - not a good sign. Spring was cooler and wetter than normal - so we'll have to see how the warmer summer months affect it. It was used extensively in crosses this year, but it is still too early to tell how good the hip set will be. --JMB (5/15/2010)
