Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Tasmanian Rose Notes.
I must once again, refer to my own seedling, ‘Mrs. T. J. Gibson’. This has been very nice indeed and I think it should be sent out. It is a delightful decorative of twenty-five petals, long pointed buds of a good clear pink, splendidly held on long, strong stems. The petals have good substance and the fully open bloom is very attractive in decorative work. The bush is of upright growth, vigorous and free, and foliage is clean. Add to this a sweet fragrance and I think you have something with great appeal. Those who have seen it in my garden speak highly of it.

Mr. S. J. Bisdee. Tasmanian Roses.
Bagdad staged its second annual Rose Show on November 21…. Among the bunches of decoratives a pink seedling of mine received special praise. It was bred from ‘Mrs. E. Willis’ x ‘Florex’ and is a smallish semi-double flower of beautiful form and colour, free and well held. It has now been named ‘Mrs. T. J. Gibson’. I have been growing it for six years and it has been improving all the time.
