The blooms could be useful for floral artists. The plant is not over vigorous and doesn't really like the rain.

Creme de la Creme (SOMwarmcent). Elegant shades of coffee and cream with an alluring fragrance. An elegant combination of coffee and cream shades which vary according to the time of year and weather conditions. Always a stunning fusion of colours, flowers are medium sized and appear both as single blooms or in small clusters. The bush is nicely compact with medium green foliage which always sets the flowers off to perfection. Perhaps the most appealing feature of this variety is its wonderful musk fragrance. 4647 'Creme de la Creme (SOMwarcent) HT. Rob Somerfield, New Zealand. June Hocking Fragrance Award. Certificate of Merit.

p60. ibid. No. 4647. 70.0 points. SOMwarcent. HT. Breeder Somerfield. Agent: Glenavon. Colour Coffee cream

p61 ibid. The only other HT of note also received an award - the first recipient of the June Hocking award for fragrance. 'Creme de la Creme' (SOMwarcent) in my humble opinion immediately attracted attention with its coffee creme blooms with a creamy lemon inter-base, and although not classically high pointed it has nice form. Its habit and foliage endeared it too, with medium upright growth and medium green glossy foliage. It was a little prone to blackspot but not bad. it's a must for my garden.
