There are two roses with this name, one an orange Grandiflora, the second, more recent one an orange blend Floribunda. I guess you'll know which rose Palatine Roses really has when you see if it grows 5 or 6 feet tall and is orange or orange red or if it is salmon orange. Neither has much scent. Neither is classed as a Hybrid Tea in Modern Roses 12.

Palatine lists the intro date as 1977 -- ergo one concludes that it's the grandiflora; the floribunda has a release date of 1990.
The grandiflora class is an ill-conceived American invention that few, if any, European hybridizers have embraced.
