Rolando Zandri, breeder and former Curatore del Roseto di Roma, informs me that the memorandum of 1933 International Rose Trials of Rome reports three roses presented by Experimental Station of Sanremo: SSS 64 (later named Riviera), SSS 194 (later named Prof. Brizi) and SSS 376 (later named Paolo Stacchini).

This rose was bred earlier than 1929 and together with Comm. Anfossi (see references 1929).
