Origin:
Bred by Julien-ALEXANDRE Hardy (France, before 1840).
Class:
China / Bengale.  
Bloom:
Crimson, purple shading.  Average diameter 4.75".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
3 to 5 leaflets.
