'Charme de Vienne' rose Description

Bloom: Copper - orange.  Mild fragrance.  27 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 5.25".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered, open bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.   
Habit: Tall, upright.  Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  
 Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.   
Notes: Mandy in Western Australia grows Vienna Charm in her garden. She says, This is a truly imposing creature. It has huge flowers. My rose has to be kept down to around 4 feet with secateurs on a regular basis. |
