Tall, arching, armed with thorns / prickles.  Medium, matte, grey-green foliage.

Breeder's notes:
August 2012: this seedling is no longer queued for evaluation, so updates are unlikely to be submitted.

Remarkable for two reasons: this seedling flowered only four months from germination, which is quite unexpected for a seedling from 'Suzanne', and it has quite a lot of yellow pigment for such a hybrid. I assumed little, if any yellow coloring would be inherited from such a mating. There is no doubt that 'Suzanne' was truly the parent here (not simply a selfing of the female): the Spinosissima characteristics are clearly evident in the foliage and general demeanor of the plant.

Curiously, the bloom has a potent Cinnamon/Carnation fragrance, with a hint of Linseed oil. A most unusual fragrance; one that some people will find unpleasant!

I have listed this as a tetraploid based on it pedigree. However, only by testing can we be certain of this.
