A disease resistant climber perfect for beginners
Oxford Girl was bred in New Zealand by Mike Athy and only available in the U.S. and North America at Jackson & Perkins. A climbing rose, Oxford Girl grows vigorously, its arching canes reaching 10 feet tall and 4 feet wide. Borne in clusters, the 3-inch double flowers have 26 to 40 pink petals and a strong fragrance. The blooms repeat throughout the season, from late spring to late fall.  Oxford Girl has excellent disease resistance, making it a great option for novice gardeners. This highly versatile rose can be grown on trellises, poles, arches, and pillars; trained along fences or walls; or allowed to fountain on its own.
