    What Old Rosarian says is also true in Chicago. I would add that it is winter hardy and shade tolerant.

    Does this rose repeat? Also, how disease-resistant is he?

    I have Zeus and although it doesn't have one large flush it always has flowers on it. Mine does get some black spot towards the end of summer but it doesn't effect the vigour of the plant. Zeus seems happiest staying as a large 6 foot bush. Perhaps he may change his mind and throw some tall climberlike canes. I have had mine for 5 years.
