Foxy Lady is a Hybrid Tea variety with attractive deep salmon pink which buds open up into very large, shapely baby pink spiralled blooms with deeper centres and great fragrance. Flowers are produced both singularly and in small trusses. Very strong bushy growth, high glossed foliage with red veining and bronzed edging with excellent health. Also grown & sold in New Zealand as Mary Isobel. Fragrance: Strong. Bush Rose Height: 90cm. Breeder's code: Simmem

A strong healthy bush with large bronze green foliage. Fragrant. Reporters like the form of this rose and a number say it is good in all stages, so a recommended rose if you want blooms for the show.

'Mary Isobel' (SIMmem) Simpson 1994; 'Lady Helen' x 'Silver Jubilee'; pink apricot blend; 9 reports on 12 bushes; 1-9 years; 1.7 metres; 8.0 rating. A strong bushy rose with large bronze green foliage. Fragrant and healthy. Northland says a big strong plant that gives good decoratives. Bay of Plenty has large blooms and clean foliage and repeats well. Can need support. Manawatu also has a strong.bush with heaps of basal shoots and the large flowers good as exhibition or fully open blooms. Te Awamutu says the older it gets the better it gets. Waikato finds it produces some beautiful exhibition blooms.

'Mary Isobel' (SIMmem). Simpson 1994; 'Lady Helen' x 'Silver Jubilee'; pink/apricot blend; 5 reports on 7 bushes; 3-8 years; 1.7 metres; 8.0 rating. A strong bushy rose with large bronze green foliage. Fragrant and healthy. Northland says a big strong plant which gives good decoratives. Worthwhile getting. Bay of Plenty has large blooms and clean foliage, but the bush was prone to wind damage. Slow repeat. Franklin has large exhibition blooms with a light fragrance and no faults with the plant. Manawatu also has a strong bush with heaps of basal shoots and the large flowers good as exhibitions or fully open blooms.

A strong bushy grower with blooms of pink with apricot shadings. Good at all stages, fragrant and healthy. Good for the garden as well as for exhibition. Bay of Plenty says large blooms on a vigorous and healthy plant. Northland says a big strong bush. Blooms are good decorative and good exhibition. Gisborne's bush wasn't too good but is now improving. Manawatu says a very strong grower. Attractive large exhibition blooms. Can get black spot but worthwhile.

Mary Isabel' (SIMmem); Simpson 1994; 'Lady Helen' x 'Silver Jubilee'; pink apricot blend; 6 reports on 9 plants; 3-8 years; 1.9 metres; 8.0 rating. The first reports in on this strong growing HT and most of them are favourable. Northland says a very healthy no fuss rose, good decorative and full open blooms. Franklin reports large exhibition type blooms in an attractive pink shaded apricot colour, makes lovely full open and decorative blooms and is also a good three stage rose, bushes are tall, strong with healthy glossy bronze green foliage. Bay of Plenty says it is nice at all stages, very large flowers, healthy, average repeat, soft pink with salmon centres. Manawatu finds it a strong bushy grower, toned pink and apricot shadings, large blooms, good at all stages, fragrant, healthy, great garden rose as well as for exhibiting.
