Bred by André Carl (United States, 2012).

Class:

Climber.

Bloom:

Coral-red, yellow center, yellow reverse and occasional yellow spots throughout bloom. Moderate, clove, spice fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, open bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Medium, leafy sepals, long, pointed buds.

Habit:

Tall, climbing, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green, edged purple-red foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for garden, pillar or shrub. Very vigorous. benefits from winter protection in colder climates. can be grown as a shrub. can be trained as a climber. drought resistant. flowers drop off cleanly. heat tolerant. suitable for a pillar. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
