Bred by Victor Trouillard (France, 1866).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Madame Eugène Appert'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Parentage:

Notes:
Possibly dedicated to Maria Leonida Leroy (daughter of André Leroy) who married a M. Appert.
