Canon F. H. Petrie, raised by Frank Mason, of Feilding, is a seedling from Rhea Reid. I like this Rose immensely. It is a first-rate crimson, being specially vivid in autumn and winter, when it blooms well. The fragrant flowers have good lasting qualities and are borne on long stems.
