Superb clean green new foliage in late winter.
Possibly the same as “Red Ethel”. ‘William Orr’ 1930 may be a contender.
‘Lady Charmion’ 1923 is yet to be researched. ‘Mrs. Harold Brookes' Alister Clarke's 1931 HT been discounted because of its new foliage in winter (i.e., May and June).
