Origin:
Bred by AndrĂ© Carl (United States, 2013).
Class:
Hybrid Spinosissima, Species Cross.  
Bloom:
Apricot, golden-yellow center, ages to seashell-pink .  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Prolific, once-blooming spring or summer.  Medium, long sepals, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , bushy, upright, well-branched.  Medium, matte, medium green, attractive fall color foliage.  7 to 9 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 2b and warmer.  Can be used for garden, hedge or shrub.  Very hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  drought resistant.  heat tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  Prune after flowering is finished.  Prune lightly or not at all.  This rose blooms on old wood.  
Breeder's notes:
It took 6 years to get it to bloom but it was worth it. Will test this variety for breeding purposes in 2018 by allowing it to set some open pollinated seeds, use as seed bearing parent in controlled crosses, and by using its pollen. I think this one will be a good parent to use if the goals include cold hardiness and/or disease resistance. Color is amazing and the fall foliage is spectacular.
