'Amelia Sharman' (sport of 'Queen Elizabeth'). In fine weather I found the pale flesh coloured flowers of this rose most attractive. It is very free flowering indeed and highly disease resistant, but rather less tall growing than 'Queen Elizabeth' itself.

p37. Also it now appears that the floribunda, sport of 'Queen Elizabeth' mentioned in this article as 'Amelia Sharman', has since been known as 'Fen Queen'. - Ed.

'Fen Queen' (Flori - HT type). Sport of 'Queen Elizabeth'. Trial ground No. 15. Reg. No. 855. Finder: A. B. Sharman, Wisbech. Habit of growth tall and upright similar to parent. Blooms of pale flesh, 40 petals, 3 1/2 inches across when open. General effect good. Slight fragrance.
