"Ocaso" means "sunset". "Vermell" means "red", and the photos on the Amics de les Roses website are a pure scarlet, unlike the orangey colour in the supplied photo. Is this rose really by Pedro Dot, or by one of his sons? It does not appear in Friera's book, but the book came out in 1957, probably too late to record it. Pedro was 72 in 1957 but still, it seems, an active breeder. Can anyone help with more information?

I've searched but found nothing on this 1957 floribunda. I have wondered about that orange photo though and noted the 1963 'Orange Dot', but that was a HT.

Here's one of the Amics photos (you aren't allowed to lift their photos): http://www.amicsdelesroses.cat/rosa.php?b=enciclopedia_roses&id=655 It looks like the same plant in the same park, just photographed differently. But Amics play safe and say just "Dot", not specifying which.
Clicking around, it seems 'Ocaso' is big on Utah and Kenya plantations as a florist's rose.
