Bloom: Coral-pink to blush, orange-pink reverse, golden-yellow stamens, amber center, ages to light pink .  Moderate, damask, fruity, pepper fragrance.  Medium-large, semi-double to double, in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Medium, glandular sepals, ovoid buds.
Habit: Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, narrow.  Glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: up to 42" (up to 105cm).

Growing: Can be used for beds and borders.  Vigorous.  prefers full sun.  produces decorative hips.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , mildew resistant.  Feed this rose well.
Breeder's notes: The most vigorous seedling was kept: quite a few died from BS before flowering, but this one was always a strong grower. Does seem to set attractive hips, although it won't rebloom if not deadheaded. Does get some blackspot although recovers quickly, never seen mildew.
Hoped for a darker color, but this guy is a very elegant pink, and a nice fragrance! Cuttings available on request.

Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes: Grown from seed given to me by Kim Rupert. (Thank you!) |
