Attfield’s Dark Lady Breeders Code Attdark.  Breeder Attfield 2011. Type Hybrid Tea. Plants 53. Reports 23. Parentage Melina x Olympiad. Height Tall. Garden  6.3. Exhibition 6.3. Health  6.3 (good)​  Fragrance 4.5 (some). A tall hybrid tea rose variety with a deep rich red colour. Blooms are smallish and last well in a vase. An exhibitor's rose.

Waikato: Very tall with little dark flowers at the top, does not make much of a garden display. Good rose for floral art. Excellent garden rose and picking rose, lasts well in a vase,  Matamata Small nearly black decorative type blooms that hold well.  Hutt Valley: Beautiful rich red colour with dark shiny leaves, but can get rust.

Te Awamutu: Old fashion type flowers, numerous, very dark red but they can hang their heads.

Waikato: Very tall, small blooms which might burn. Te Awamutu: had bush for sometime, This year vigorous, lots of flowers, likes to hang its heads, stems a little weak. Hutt Valley: Good fully open bloom.
