I grow this rose in zone 7b, NJ, in clay soil that leans alkaline. It flowers often and the flowers really do look like smaller Heritage blooms, but they last quite a bit longer on the shrub than Heritage. The color varies with the seasons, from a lovely shell pink in spring to a deeper pink in summer and a very pale pink in late fall. I don’t notice any issues with heat tolerance. However, this rose has struggled through winter every year, with some cane dieback in spring. It recovers ok. It’s staying pretty compact for me; it’s just barely 2’ tall. I’ll need to move it forward in the border. I do very much like the blooms on this one, so it’s a keeper in my garden.
