Origin:
Bred by Lecomte (France, before 1828). Introduced in France by Savoureux in 1828 as 'Ma Pupille'.
Bloom:
Violet, darker shading. Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, flat, scalloped bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns. 5 to 7 leaflets.
