From Michael Garhart in 'Fort Vancouver' comments: .... when looking for more references on the more recent 'Times Square'. But I could not find any references....I grew it once. I know exactly what it is like, but I know nothing of its background. It is kind of between a polyantha and floribunda in all dimensions. Semi-double. Scarlet w/ silver reverse. Average in everything. No scent. But where did it come from?
Michael - I've had a search and found almost nothing. But the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden listed it at site N-14-30.5 in their April 2005 listing. They listed it as S, [hybridist?]. Perhaps Jill Perry might have more information on this rose? Patricia

I am guessing either Weeks or Tom Carruth knows, as they have used it in breeding.
And thanks!

Michael - would you have a look at MACtisqua. I think this may be it, but at this stage, I have only found conflicting pieces of the parentage.

Seems plausible. I always wondered if Little Artist was a parent of it.
Now to know what Super Sid is.
