MELODY
(Hybrid Tea)
An exceptional bedding rose and decorative variety, having beautiful bronze foliage, which is practically mildew proof. The flowers are of medium size and perfect in shape, and are freely and continuously produced on long erect stems from early summer until late in the autumn; is very fragrant and does exceptionally well as a standard. Should be sparingly pruned in March, and all sappy and weak shoots removed, reducing the well-ripened ones to four "eyes". Introduced in 1911.
