A few have been provisionally identified by visitors from overseas: Caroline de Sansal (1849) for the “Ebenezer Cemetery Button-eyed Strongly-scented Pink” (photo in the winter 2020 Journal, p. 16)

* Ed: Gregg and Phillip from Vintage Gardens identified another of Pat’s foundlings from the Barossa, “Ebenezer Cemetery button-eyed strongly-scented pink”, as Caroline de Sansal (HP, before 1849). A lovely flower but not healthy in my clay. It suckers a bit.

The Ebenezer Cemetery button-eyed pink (now lost from there) appears to be the HP 'Caroline de Sansal' (Desprez-Jamain & Paillet 1849), even though the button eye is not a consistent feature in Vintage Gardens.
