Certificate of Merit to Kiss The Bride (Mattliandup) - A floribunda, bred by Bob Matthews, Matthews Roses. Trial No. 4945. This very healthy, very tall floribunda with medium green glossy foliage appealed to the judges. The pale cream to pink flowers with a romantic form formed good size clusters. The plant grew too tall for me and had a lot of lanky growths especially late summer onwards. Spider mites were a problem during the hot summer temperatures experienced in the last summer of judging. Petals lacked good texture and damaged a little in the wet.
