It is sold and exhibited by Kordes in Europe as a Hybrid Tea, but classed as a Grandiflora overseas.

I did eventually buy it. Don't knw what to think of it yet. Maybe I'll have an opinion next year. Red seems colorfast. A slight gold tone to the eye zone. Form and foliage seem okay. At the moment, reminds me of 'Kanegem' in red, with very shiny foliage. Probably a good rose for the home owner and weekend warrior.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The new variety of Rosa hybrida Grandiflora Rose Plant of the present invention was created during May 2007 at Offenseth-Sparrieshoop, Germany by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., seed parent) of the new variety was the `MEIangele` variety (non-patented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., pollen parent) was the `KORtutu` variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 22,828).
The parentage can be summarized as follows: `MEIangele` x `KORtutu`

It was nice Kordes actually put the full lineage. I was happily surprised.
