Barbara May and Jane Zammit.  Rookwood Cemetery Roses.
[Slide] “Emma Pier”. This rose is possibly an early Hybrid Tea and was found in the oldest part of the cemetery. It came up in the corner of two graves-through cracked cement. It was a one-off in an area of Hybrid Perpetuals, Bourbons, Ramblers  & Teas. Fortunately before the rose died, Peter Cox had budded a small number of plants that now reside back at Rookwood.
