Taken 12/30/2019 in my Texas Garden. Size of leaves, mature and younger canes. Notice there are very few prickles. Mature wood does not last long - Maybe two years. Responds well when old canes are removed
Taken 12/30/2019 in my Texas Garden. Shows the plant's fall color in morning sunlight. Gives an approximation of size - but note that the plant is in a 50 gallon pot so it is not as tall as it might look relative to the fence.
