This is probably the best smelling rose in the last few years from DA. But it's not stable - only newly open blooms smell strong and usually require a humid warm day. Scent is delish - citrus with musk and fruits, reminds me of Emma hamilton a bit. It gives lots of flowers and they do last a few days, but get shattered by the rain quite quickly. I think it's a must. And it doesn't look like Emily Bronte in real life, Emily looks more like Elizabeth.

How is this rose different from Emily Brontë? Anyways, Eustacia Vye & Gabriel Oak are scheduled for 2021 USA introduction. Unfortunately, it looks like Dame Judi Dench will soon be dropped from the catalog.

Apologies if the question was rhetorical, but they have quite different colouring in real life. Eustacia has some deep pink and deep apricot tones, while Emily is always on the milder side, fading to cream or white. Emily blooms more continuously and has firm, long-lasting, upwards-facing blooms. Eustacia's blooms are flimsier and she shatters much more quickly. Emily is much the taller already after only a couple of months in this garden.
Similarities: both are extremely beautiful and have heavenly scents. I would not want to part with either of them.
