Palace Rose Garden, RBGSyd. Taken 04 April, 2021. It looked basically bomb proof, no blackspot in sight compared to all the other defoliated things! (Apart from 'Playgirl', but it didn't have as many blooms). Not much scent, as far as I could remember, but it was late afternoon.

Not the best photos by any means, just showing a cluster, almost 50 buds total on the cane in various stages of opening.
Note it's been hot and windy so there's some damage and some of the individual peduncles have been bent over from being blown around and caught on things.
