L26, a sister of this rose, is listed in 'Resistance of rose hybrids to three races of Diplocarpon rosae', and it was stated, "The resistance found in the tetraploid roses G49 and L26 will therefore be beneficial to the breeding of garden roses resistant to blackspot."
