Bred by James Lee (United Kingdom, before 1819).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Lee & Kennedy / Vineyard Nursery Hammersmith in 1819 as 'Rosa racemosa'.
Class:
Hybrid Rubiginosa.  
Bloom:
Fuchsia / magenta.  Double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, flat bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.
