Sheenagh Harris. Roses in South Africa. To my knowledge Basil Gowie, Des Wright, Basil Webb and Mr.P Fisher were amateur breeders in this country. Basil Gowie produced a cream floribunda which he named Mary Wise in the 1960's but it soon disappeared off the market.
